Successfully implemented Erasmus+ projects in the field of environmental protection, significant for the local population, many years of experience in activities related to the protection of the natural heritage of Gorski Kotar, and long-term cooperation with relevant associations make the association Wondernature a quality partner and stakeholder in the overall development of Gorski kotar.

Registration for Interreg's Reunite Kupa project, which connects Croatia and Slovenia

The Wondernature Association has collaborated with the Institute for Culture and Tourism in the Slovenian town of Kostel to propose a project. The project aims to build trust within the local community of the Kupa Valley. The plan involves organising two cross-border festivals with the common slogan "Kupa Valley Reunited." The goal of the project is to provide an opportunity for Croatian and Slovenian local communities to learn about cross-border traditions, culture, customs, and identity through bilateral festivals.

Erasmus+ "Circular SME Scan in Hospitality" - February 2023 -

The Association is participating in the Erasmus+ project called "Circular SME Scan in Hospitality" with partners from Hungary, Spain, Lithuania, Greece, and Ireland. The aim of this project is to explore the potential for implementing circular economy practices in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the hospitality sector. The project team will provide recommendations and guidelines to SMEs on how they can integrate circular practices into their businesses, and promote sustainability while reducing negative impact on the environment.

Erasmus+ project "Recycle Yourself FIRST" - January 2022 to 2023

The Erasmus+ project "Recycle Yourself FIRST" involved partners from Slovenia and Austria who organized various activities such as workshops, lectures, research, and conferences aimed at educating the local community about recycling and the significance of taking care of oneself and the environment. The primary target audience of the project was the local population with a particular focus on young people.
